Pilates is a form of mind-body exercise that focuses on strengthening muscles, especially the muscles of the core, as well as developing mobility, flexibility and balance. This is achieved by performing controlled repetitive movements whilst concentrating on the breath.
Pleo Pilates takes the traditional principles of pilates and combines them with a modern approach to help sculpt long lean muscles as well as improving alignment/posture.
Pleo Pilates is taught by Gillian, who having enjoyed practicing yoga and pilates over a number of years, decided to deepen her knowledge of pilates and undertake her Mat Pilates teaching qualification. She is now excited to share her love of pilates with you all.
