FAQs

Can anyone join in a Pleo Pilates class?

Yes! Everyone is welcome to join a class, no matter who you are. The class is suitable for complete beginners to intermediate levels. All exercises can be adapted so that you can work at your own level. I want Pleo Pilates classes to be inclusive for everyone.

Can I come by myself?

Yes. Feel free to come along yourself - most people do! Coming to an exercise class alone for the first time can be scary but don’t worry you won’t be the only one and you will get to meet like minded people who enjoy the same things as you. If you want to come with someone then great! It’s the perfect activity to do with friends as well.

Is there parking available?

Yes, you can park for free either outside the Clubhouse or on Castle Avenue.

What should I expect from my first class?

When booking your class you will be asked to complete a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q). This will let me know if you have any medical needs that should be taken in to consideration.

During a Pleo Pilates Signature class we will warm up the body before moving on to our main pilates exercises, working the full body. This will be followed by some stretching and relaxation. The class itself will last around 50 mins with 10 minutes to get organised before and after.

What do I need to bring to class?

All you need to bring is a yoga/pilates mat and some water. The class can be done in socks or bare feet, whatever you feel most comfortable in.

What if I can’t make a class I have booked?

You can reschedule a class up to 8 hours before the class begins. After this time no reschedules can be made. Unfortunately no refunds can be given but all classes you can’t attend can be rescheduled.

I want to attend a class but it’s fully booked, what can I do?

If a class is full then please send me an email if you would like to attend it. I can then let you know if a space becomes available and this will also help me manage interest for adding additional classes.
